Well, your right and wrong.
To physically build the device does cost dollars. What what about the employees and their working hours? What about paying for all the research and development (All the brilliant programmers who sit and think of ideas, then write them as a software) sector, which costs millions?
I assume that for each unit they pay about 50-70 bucks, so 100 is a reasonably price after all (and I know that it sounds awful).
