Good compilation, I don't like the new format of CBC News Toronto as much since Diana Swain left. But the new graphics are certainly improved on the CBC brand since they changed last year.

here and now was not broadcast across the country so it's not the country's best when only one region sees it.

@canadanewsdude I've heard from more than one person Nirmala was recruited to the CBC because of failing ratings. Dave Budge was the news director for Global Calgary and he moved over there shortly before she did.

I dont like alot of the graphics and music of the new cbc but they got it BANG ON for local news. The old theme was sooooooooo boring!! Its now just perfect.

Do they have to use the same gawd damned theme all across the country? Why no make the programs in each region totall regional by giving them BACK CONTROL over the opening theme and name of the regional news programme!
