Saturn as seen through a Skywatcher 90mm Maksutov Cassegrain.
I think if there is a perfect telescope for the average household,it should be this one for planetary views, hands down it is a winner. very sharp views. Compact, light, relatively inexpensive. Can't go wrong.

  • might seem like a dumb question, but is the image better in person looking through that 90mm scope? im looking at getting one as my first scope, and dobsonian is to big, want something portable

  • @thestash16 Alot better actually, it is limited though, resricted frield of view, not great on dark object, globs..ect.

One of the best surprises I got first time looking through it, it is every bit as good an a EXT 90 I'd say better. I own one also, so have compared them.

excllent detail on planets, and on the moon its remarkable,

Very sharp images, I would consider this as a second scope, a specialty scope, better off with a 6 inch reflector, but if size matters, I'd buy the maksutov.it's good
