Lake Charlevoix Day Trip

Driving around Lake Charlevoix is less about the lake itself, and more about what can be found around it.
Although there are certainly breathtaking views of the water, the communities and shops found along the way have their own unique things to offer.
Its almost like those Choose Your Own Adventure books, where a turn down a side street reveals the lake, but staying on the main path offers shopping and downtown atmospheres.
The approximately 50-mile trip below travels counterclockwise around the lake, although exactly what route to take and its direction can be easily changed.
