@SRCleaderRAZZOR As you saw in the early clips of this video he can and did a few times in the Pilot movie, however changing colors is for sissies when one can transform into completely different cars. Viper seems to only have one alternate mode, KITT can transform into a 2008 Ford Mustang convertible, Ford F-150, E-150, Ford Flex, Ford Crown Victoria Police interceptor, and a 1969 Ford Fastback Mustang in addition to his submersible and attack modes.
In the start of the nineties this was on of my most beloved shows. I once saw the set of the The Sentinel at Crescent Beach. But I would have loved to have seen the set of Viper! Damnit. Been living in the Vancouver area for almost 27 years and I wasn't able to see them or the car! *sniffles*
Viper Season 1 is the only and best morphing for the tv show, 1st season ran about 150,000 per show for the cgi and one reason it was canceled..

Bad computer graphics, all bad copies of the fantastic original Knight Rider.

@TaisinViper oh, I think KITT only used his holoprojecter once when he delivered a post-mortem message.

@ChakatBlackstar The Viper Defender had a holographic projector that could mimic anything no morphing needed :)
