I'm glad I had the opportunity to see Ray play with the Moody Blues many times over the years. He was fantastic, and I miss him, but know he is enjoying retirement. Now...if he could only come out for one more road show...

Mike Pinder was my favorite. Ray Thomas was my 2nd favorite.
Then John Lodge, but Justin Hayward was cool too.

Ray Thomas rules! He wrote some of the best Moodies' songs and he had/has an amazing voice. Too bad he wasn't singing lead more often :-( No offense to Justin, of course :-)

If you love Ray's voice and do not have his solo works you've got to find them. SOme of his best songwriting resides on these gems. He will forever be "The Man" sorely missed within the Moodies.

I have heard something about that Ray want to re-release his solo albums in 2009 with bonus tracks. But I dont know if its true.
