Mr Freek Kerkhof was a Dutch TV pioneer in the early days of TV.
He wrote a book for the TV amateur how to build your own television.
The TV consists of tree parts. Power, short wave radio and a monitor.
In fact, he described two monitors. A mechanical version and an
electronic version with a CRT. As fas as I know this is the only original
design for the Baird standard with CRT from that time.
The video standard is fully Baird (30 line) compatible. The funny thing
is, the monitor supports also the 32 line NBTV club standard without
any modifications... The 80 meter short wave radio is tuned
at 3.7 MHz in this film.
The community in that time counted 300 members. But it is not known how many sets were build. Until now there are no known sets left from that time.
This is the reason why I've build this TV set. A piece of Dutch TV history...
Geweldige prestatie!
