Right-Sizing Detroit

The Detroit Works Project describes the task of "right-sizing" as "an evolving roadmap designed to make Detroit work by creating a shared, achievable vision for our future". "Detroit by Design" is an event seeking to assist the city with this effort by bringing together architects, community and business leaders, public officials, allied professionals and other key stakeholders in the region. Within this context, the future of Detroit is discussed with a feature on Focus Hope's HOPE Village, as one example of an impoverished community being transformed by an interconnected web of opportunities, education and support.
