My dog is a catalan sheepdog, with a really similar instintcts and inteligense of border collie, and she can recognice a lot of words, as bath, whater, ham, bacon, tennis ball, football or the blue stick or bone or coach or bed, front door or back door, or up and down the house, in and out, even the names of all the members of the family and plenty of other examples It is awesome how dogs can be so smart. And also sheepdogs are ones of the most loyals dogs.
