Beauty and the Beast - Diamond Edition Blu-ray & 3D Blu-ray Comparison (French)

Here's a little comparison between the Diamond edition Blu-ray and the 3D Blu-ray of Beauty and the Beast.
For me the colours are so much better in the 3D edition, they are a lot closer to the original version I think.
The french dub in this video is not the one on the 3D blu-ray (it's the 2002 version unfortunately).

Voici un petit comparatif entre le Blu-ray sorti l'an dernier et le Blu-ray 3D qui sort le 4 octobre prochain aux Etats Unis et au Canada (en novembre en France).
Personnellement je préfère largement les couleurs du Blu-ray 3D qui sont, je trouve, plus proches de la version originale.
Le doublage français de cette vidéo n'est pas celui présent sur le Blu-ray 3D (c'est le doublage de 2002 qui est dessus malheureusement).

Hey @alexfan2valdeniz do you know if the 2D blu-ray off this combo pack have the new colors/blur effects? Or is it the exact same 2D copy as last years?

@Joshorty Hi, the 2D blu-ray from the combo is the same as the diamond edition. It's only the 3D blu-ray which has the new colors but you can read it with a 2D blu-ray player (you will see the 3D version like in my video) ;)

Donc si on prend le combo Blu-ray 3D / Blu-ray 2D / DVD, est-ce que les couleurs sur le Blu-ray 2D vont être comme celle du 3D ou comme celle du combo Blu-ray / DVD sorti en 2010?

@EvenstarMJJ Ce n'est que le Blu-ray 3d qui a ces couleurs. Le Blu-ray 2D du combo est le même que l'année dernière. Par contre le blu-ray 3D est compatible avec les lecteurs blu-ray 2D (on voit alors le film en 2D comme sur cette vidéo à la place de la 3D).

Is there anyway I can add another language to my diamond editon? I bought the blueray here in portugal and it comes in english and portuguese, but my vhs tape was in french and I really wish I could see it again like that...

Damn the colors do look better on the 3D version. This makes me sad for having bought the pack from last year.

The 3D Edition is a lot better. I went and saw it in Cinemas last week and I recently order the 3D BLU-RAY off from Amazon. I don't see it in stores. This is definetely a Blu-Ray must-have.

The only difference that I can is the brightness of the 3D.

@chrisherself well the loss of depth in field, and other changes minus colors is only meant for 3D viewing, not very ideal for 2D viewing. Anyway I just got back from watching this in theatres and am sad that this will probably the first and last time I'll watch with Belle's hair being dark brown from beginning to end. The 3D was surprisingly well done as well, even better than Lion King.
