Download Project - http://www.phstudios.com/tutorials/xna/projects/ScreenSystemImplementation-V0...

This is an example on how to use the ScreenSystem. If you wish to use it in your own project, grab the ScreenSystem.dll found in the ScreenSystemImplementation folder and paste it in your project's folder. Once that is done, right click References on your code project (not your content project) and click Add Reference. Click the browse tab and look for the DLL.

  • Would you ever consider doing a somewhat quick tutorial on the game state manager proved by the xna team?

  • @altfclansing Probably not, I would have to get their approval to go over it in great detail.

  • or how about you create your own and use that? since this is a guide I think you are expecting experienced programmers to see this and understand what happens etc or something like that. I personally am creating a game and I created my own screen manager :)

but good thing you did here :P

  • @ClaytC If everybody would think like that, why would anybody release any sort of framework or API? Like I said there will be full documentation when I release the full version.

  • @ClaytC personally, I prefer to do my own screen manager as you can actually control all the outcomes of the screens etc... Unless you do another thing, menu to game loading screen etc, then that will be interesting as most people who start don't have a clue about that :P
