Gettin' my ass whupped!

My cameo ass beating came about while working as a grip on this film, Book of Swords, which is a martial arts tale starring Lang (Ho-Sung Pak of Mortal Kombat fame) that was shot in Chicago around '96.

Anyways, the situation as I remember was that it was late and most of the talent left for the day or Peter Allen (the director) decided to shoot an impromptu scene. He had concluded that Dan (the production designer) and I should 'act' as the fierce thugs that are to kidnap, Beth (Liesl Guinto), Lang's girlfriend. Apollo (Shaun Gayle) is the guy the comes in at the end with the knock-out punch to render Beth unconscious.

It certainly is lacking in the distribution dept, huh? Apparently, its only screened in a few countries outside of the U.S. and I've only found an actual dvd of it on Ebay.
