  • I find that a non-elemental pounder type rifle with a dot sight (a scope is a hinderance at close to medium range) is the best type of combat rifle to use against spiderants. Shotguns and revolvers are also excellent. You need a shotgun that holds a bare miminum of 5 rounds. Or if you prefer the principle of a shotgun combined with the handling of a revolver, use a Masher. Tediore and Dahl make the best Mashers. Bladed revolvers are especially fun. Have you ever found a bladed Masher?

  • @IggyHazard im not new to this lol i found tons of mashers as well as created them myself lol

  • @r390gt1lm Good! I need someone to talk shop with!

Have you ever created a bladed Masher? I have yet to find one like that. My most recent acquisition was a Lv.31 Tediore Masher. Do you have Underdome?

  • @IggyHazard i got it, btw masher cannot be bladed, the weapon can have one part in the accesory slot which is either Masher or Blade, would be cool tho lol

  • @r390gt1lm Oh, I didn't realize being a Masher counted as an accessory. A bladed Masher would be a perfect monster destroyer. Basically a shotgun that handles like a revolver and has a massive bayonet-shiv attached to it.

  • @IggyHazard yea, but i like mashers for the narrow spread, i like splatting heads at a good range lol and mashers low spread helps in 2 ways, helps you aim, there are lots of bullets that can be a potential headshot and if you plant all bullets to the head you get a sick critical hit lol

  • @r390gt1lm "Hunter" shotguns (the ones with long ribbed barrels and rifle sights) throw nice tight patterns too. Opposite of a sweeper. Unlike shotguns, all Mashers ALWAYS throw nice tight patterns. I have a Lv.31 Tediore Masher and it's the best one I've found so far. A Jakobs of the same level rating and even of lesser flavor text (let's say green compared to blue) will always do more damage but will also have poor handling characteristics in comparison.
