This is house, Alexeykh, leaning towards the deep end. Acid jazz was barely a term when this record came out, and most of it was what is now called "broken beat" and down tempo. Conversely, there were lots of house tracks with jazz samples, as well as some like this with live instrumentation.

i remember dancing to this at some place like the Tunnel or Factoria in NYC in 94... Such a brilliant song to lose yourself in - you almost become the sax...

this track isn't simple, its damn complex if anything, so many melodies intertwining.
this music takes me for a trip everytime. so simple yet so beautiful.
