Regina Spektor - The Call (Cover)

There are fireworks booming and shrieking outside my window and, for a long time, that's all the 4th of July was for me. A night of barbecues and colorful pyrotechnics.

Well, it kind of still is about that.

But allow me this mushy Hallmark moment... sometimes it's easy to forget the people that are away from their families on nights like this, protecting our rights and safeguarding our security.

With all my heart, this song is dedicated to those in the armed forces.
Thank you for everything you so courageously do.
