Giuseppi Logan composes a new piece called Suzannah (I missed capturing the naming on camera)

This is the very first YouTube I every filmed of GL and a lot has changed so you can follow the progression of his life and music on my YouTube documentary series with 18 episodes mostly filmed on my IPhone. Please watch if you haven't and know since than he has a small place near the park and he has written new material and cut a new cd. O this new tube....my thoughts....Very touching -- GL composed this song and he said he is calling it Suzannah. Very moving....He should be on the radio very soon.

I can't express the exhaustion I feel. I know GL appreciates me but I also know he doesn't get how much work it takes to help out and also film...I am not attempting to make a professional film but a street one using my IPhone to tell his story...a YouTube documentary.

Logan recorded two albums for the ESP label in the mid-60's featuring Eddie Gomez, Don Pullen and Milford Graves, The Giuseppi Logan Quartet and More.

The Giuseppi Logan Quintet, recorded in September 2009, reunites Logan with two of his closest collaborators from the '60's, pianist Dave Burrell and drummer Warren Smith. Also joining him on the session are Francois Grillot, bass and Matt Lavelle, trumpet and bass clarinet. The album features five brand new Logan compositions, and several standards.

Logan will maintain his rigorous schedule of appearances around the New York City area with his group, as well as his steady solo gig in the NW corner of Tompkins Square Park.

Giuseppi Logan is amazing. When I met him he was homeless and he needed a place to live, play music and compose music. He is doing all of the above and just cut his first CD since his two successful records in the 1960's!!!!
