Anyone who thinks it's OK to sexually objectify a woman at ANY age needs to re-evaluate their viewpoint and how it affects both genders.

Young girls need to gain confidence from their hobbies, personality, and intellect. If they grow up thinking "younger is better", then they will not be happy.

If men cannot respect women their own age, then do they even respect themselves? Japanese women should refuse to get involved with men who think "younger is better".

Agree with you Hiroko! it's really sick and wrong! There seems to be so much over sexualisation towords young girls and its wrong and these companies making these animes, opening these school girl resturaunts are making it worst for example akb48 makes me sick the way they represent girls :( this is something big and is effecting a culture and women and men of who they are. it also makes me sad cause when alot of people think of japan they think of that first and it shouldnt be like that :(

I am so glade you brought this up and i totally agree with most of the comments. aybe this was anime influenced IMO but i find it sad that in japan the younger you are and the bigger your eyes are is considered beautiful to most. i went to a made cafe at a comic convention in 2006 and NONE of those women looked that young! it's almost too young. i would feel like a real pedophile if a girl that young in a french maid outfit is serving me drinks .

I'm not gonna lie I have a couple of these figures... Let's just say I'm a little obsessed with the Nanoha franchise... Fate-chan daisuki! <3 Lolz Anyways... I'm a American otaku but none of this is new to me I'm only 20 but I study Japanese culture off and on. Japan is ALOT different than America in ALOT of ways.
