An older Rita, still beautiful, here voice is much better than the original with Joe Cocker. I'm surprised she still sings it; Leon Russell wrote it when they were together; as far as I know, they've had no contact in many years.
Anyway, I love Rita; I love her new group Walela, check them out. There's some great ones with her, Priscilla, etc. and Robbie Robertson.

Still as gorgeous as when she sang with Mad Dogs and Englishmen. That deep vibrato voice is still so fine. I could never get tired of seeing her. Dark beauty with a unique voice. She had few peers in R&R at that time.
