    Drew Carey's weightloss is attributed to his strict diet IN ADDITION to 'intense cardio 45 minutes a day 6 days a week' (quoted from DC himself).

    Diet alone DOES NOT attribute to long-term weight loss.

  • @Etalian5tallion great point! I work out 2 hours per day 6 days per week and I do follow a strict diet, so I guess I am on the right track. Thanks for commenting : )

  • Hey there! Have you considered intellectus 424 diet (just google it)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my friend lost a ton of weight with it.

  • "diet alone does not attribute to longterm weightloss"??? poor english aside that's complete rubbish. If you have a horrible diet and you change it to a healthy diet you will certainly lose the fat...whether you excercise or not. Will excercise enhance your weight loss and general wellbeing? of course it will....it may also you make you hungrier so just beware of the pitfalls that entails. One certainly doesn't need 45 minutes of cardio everyday to lose weight if they eat properly.

  • I did a low carb diet for 2 years. Loved the food, the more you eat the more you lose and didn't exercise. Guess what? I lost weight but also lost muscle because I didn't exercise. Muscle burns calories. Once I reached my weight goal I started eating carbs again and this time I really craved sweets like never before. So this time I will do a phase two low carb diet and add exercise. It may take longer to lose the weight but I will be healthier in the end.
