Amazon, you've got some work to do... Still though, the Kindle Fire is a nice first attempt. I look forward to seeing how it's improved over time. Until then, I see no reason to use this over better tablets available on the market.

I've never found a mobile OS that's as smooth and clean as iOS.

Like when scrolling up and down a page, it just suddenly stops, but on iOS, it springs back.

I don't give a shit if my iPhone has a little less customizability than other mobile OS, at least it's much less cluttered and more comfortable to use.
