  • Doesn't look particularly comfortable to drive, especially in reverse!

  • @All2Meme the smallets practical passenger carrying gauge is actually 7.25" very common in britain and europe. The states have 7.25" on the east and 7.5"" on the west i think. But in this gauge it is possible to move 30 tons. I Have a petrol hhydraulic that can do that. so 360 people cpapable of being moved by a loco that fits into the back of a transit isn't bad going

  • What a beut!! I must go and see it in action.

  • Wow...I thought 24" was the smallest practical passenger-carrying gauge! At 15", it can't be much more than a garden-scale railroad. That being said, the Garratt is a lovely little iron foal complete with its painted boiler jacket...it's the first outside-frame Garratt I've seen, but not surprising given the limited widths and clearances possible with such a narrow gauge railway.

  • A very beautiful locomotive. The railway looks great!
