Former Secretary of State, General Colin Powell was questioned by Sam Husseini outside of CBS Studios on Sunday, December 17 in regards to the nature of his statements and actions in supporting the prosecution of war on Iraq, based on his public appearance before the United Nations Security Council and Bob Woodward's account of the process in "Plan of Attack."

Powell suggested that he had no role in checking the veracity of the material supplied to him by the intelligence community, casting blame by strong implication on the CIA, echoing previous assertions in the fallout of the Iraq War.
