The attack on the USS Cole took place in Oct. 2000. George Bush was elected President one month later. When the FBI and CIA gave conclusive reports to the Bush administration as to the perpetrators of the Cole bombing, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and his deputy Paul Wolfowitz argued against retaliation for the bombing of the USS Cole, saying the issue was "stale". Rudy Giuliani was in complete agreement with them. Now, Rudy's version of history appears to have revised itself.

Guiliani? Yet another should've, could've, would've rewriting of history. As an ex-prosecuter, he had no problem with how the '93 terrorist attack was handled.
Nobody has exploited 9/11 more than him, milking it for his own selfish enrichment. And here he is making his bid for the VP office, only nobody particularly cares what he has to say because we have all heard it so many times before.
