@stevewoodhead They used many similar parts but generally to a lower standard. The con rods and valve springs were specific to each engine. They were built to less stringent tolerances ie you didn't have to measure all your big end cap bolt split pins so they all weighed the same :)

Hey Al Gore, what do you think about this?! It's an early prototype of a RR hybrid (electro motors are installed in the wheels as you can imagine).
I love the garden hose cooling system... And is that a fuel line on the floor?
