I first heard Lionel in a coffee shop in Riverside, California. Throughout the show, I was intrigued with a musical instrument that I couldnt identify. There were at least eight musicians on a very small stage, so it was a challenge for me as a novice to pinpoint the exotic sound. When I finally did identify the sound, I was amazed at what Lionel did to sound of the guitar with just paper. Listening to him now, his vocals are icing on the cake. He's incredible.
