From the Czech historical movie "Proti vsem", the last part of Otakar Vavra's hussite trilogy. Taborites set forth to help threatened Prague. But Zdena of Hvozdno stays with her dear priest Jan Bydlinsky, a member of the adamite sect. Good music of Jiri Srnka.

  • THE best Czech historical movie ever done !

Its so sad that our cinema cant produce more of these powerfull scenes of out history .Give them ,the communists credit ,they made it big and put money there. We have a very rich history and should made a more movies like this one.

Not only about hussites but battle of Bila Hora, well not popular but..protestant wars, will find many of them .

  • Very good indeed... After Bila Hora started germanisation of Czechs... Vsechno najlepsi z Polsko.

  • jen bychom měli být vlastenci stále.... ne jen při hokeji a fotbale.....

  • @LupuSabre DARK BLUE WORLD was a boring waste of money.

  • There was a movie, Dark Blue World, that was about Czech pilots in WWII, but it wasn't an epic movie like this. It seems to me, as an American, that many Central and Eastern European movies (Russian, Czech) tend to be very reflective and philosophical instead of action movies like we have here in America. This is the closest Czech film I've seen to an American style movie. But I have to say the style reminds me of Alexander Nevsky, another Soviet film.

  • Ještě přijde náš čas. Brusel je teď naše šelma Ryšavá!

  • 2:09 je nejlepší

  • Thanks for posting it.

  • Excellent movie, glad the commies made, the only good thing to come out of the Red bastards.

    ;)

  • Thank the Communist freedom we had for these beautiful memories of our national culture.
