Preston King Bio:

Preston King's career as a professional Guitar/Vocalist has spanned the years from the early 70's playing and singing in bands and as a solo performer in London, Perth (Western Australia) and The Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. As a high-energy live performer Preston has the capacity to entertain large crowds at concerts, as well as smaller venues. He has worked at hotels, clubs, restaurants, cocktail-bars, river cruises etc; and also performs at weddings, parties, concerts and corporate events. He can rock the house with a big sound, virtually taking the place of a whole band, and get people up and dancing - or keep things quieter and laid-back, however the mood suggests, and what is required at any particular venue. A versatile performer, Preston can cater to different types of audiences. For some songs he sings with backing music for a full band sound, playing along with acoustic or electric guitar; and also plays acoustic or electric guitar on its own, for other songs.

Preston has a very extensive repertoire of hundreds of popular songs from the '50s onwards - to contemporary songs. Genres cover a wide range through Rock, Pop, Jazz, Blues, Country, Reggae, R & B and Soul.

Currently focusing on live performances, Preston is also working on producing a CD of popular songs. He is currently based in Perth, Western Australia.

As well as performing as a solo artist Preston also plays and sings as a duo known as The Kings, with popular local Perth musical identity,
Hans Fiance -- featuring two vocals, harmonies, two guitars, keyboards and backing drums, offering more versatility with a bigger, full band sound (or alternatively, two guitars and two vocals for an acoustic sound).
