Welcome to ProGuitarShop.com where we're diving deep into the RSA 23C from Divided by 13. The RSA 23C is a compact single channel version of the RSA 23, specially tuned to be in combo form. Along with some tweaks to the circuit, a much requested master volume has been added to the control panel for that sweet British tube amp breakup at friendlier levels. Loaded with a big bold pair of KT88 tubes, the Divided by 13 RSA 23C has ample clean headroom and a mighty sound thanks to the finely crafted birch ply cabinet and a Celestion G12H speaker. So with a rating of 23 watts, Divided by 13 has given this amp all the characteristics you love about high wattage amps with the control and chime of the classic combos. http://proguitarshop.com/store/amplifiers-divided-by-13-amplifiers-c-4_686/di...

  • Love the G&L man, great demo

  • @rossfloss So you are writing the rules? I will check with you from now on, lol

  • 6505+ has nice cleans , the 6505 1 less tube and is more gainy in nature aka less clean tone

  • @rossfloss because god forbid that's how he's most comfortable playing guitar? My old bandmate literally COULDN'T play guitar with a plectrum and we were in an Industrial band at the time which was quite funny.

  • I hate how Andy always uses his fingers. Certain styles come out better with the use of a plectrum. Fail.

  • @Riveratguitarman : Thats Sly & the family stone. (You caught me) Smilin' from the album "There's a riot goin' on". One of the most influential and ingenious albums ever, possibly the birth of what's now called "black music". Andy plays it extremely well. For a white guy, that is ;-)

  • @gangtwanger I agree, I can definitely see his improvement...and I knew I wasn't the only one who's inspired by Andy to practice and to work on my tone!

  • Anybody notice how Andy's playing has improved since he started doing these videos? All that extra practice time makes a big difference. I started working extra hard on my rhythm-playing over the last year or so (PRACTICING rhythm instead of simply noodling), and it's made a huge difference. I started recording video when I'm playing onstage, and I've seen the improvement over time. Also, watching Andy's guitar-playing in these videos got me woodshedding as well as working on my amp/FX tone.

  • @spitfireb1 agreed i have one and the clean sucks... but you don't buy a 6505 for the clean sound anyway ;)
