Weird... the clapping rhythm is different. It's not kick clap (x4) then kick clap (x3). It makes the song so unfamiliar to me.

Actually, maybe it wasn't Phil who was off - the highhat seemed on beat - but somebody/something definitely was off and about to derail that performance

He IS a crazy genius! And being a musician & listening to this song quite a bit - he DID save that performance by making sure Phil got back / on the beat during that bit. I was as relieved as Thom looked after that bit :)
(Those are the pitfalls of having such rhythmically difficult/ syncopated songs!)
