You've got to remember that he has a distinctive Austrian accent when he speaks in German and that it doesn't have the same effect for a German speaking audience. You can't make a direct comparison, but imagine a regional accent from the UK like Yorkshire, or Cornwall, and how off putting it would be if the Terminator sounded like that!

It is real life in many countries.
It would be interesting to hear if Arnold Schwarzenegger's voice in German is be the real Arnold Schwarzenegger or not - and if not : who is the voice and why did not Schwarzenegger do the job!

It is not Arnold Schwarzenegger's real voice, it is the voice of one Thomas Danneberg.
Schwarzenegger never provides his own voice in the dubbed German versions, because many people don't like the particular accent (I myself don't like it very much). However, in English it is quite amusing...

no, because computer graphics weren't capable of this back then, they could do the T1000 because it's very easy to render silver reflective objects.
