Classic tv ad from Irish Electricity Supply Board 1988. With many thanks to the ESB for supplying this to me.

Did Alan Hughes ever do a National Lottery ad? My Granny was in an advert with him years and years ago, she was supposed to be his mum in an ad with a school play. I'd love to find it to show her.

Anybody with a Mammy has gotta love this ad! 1980's Ireland - emigration - this ad was of its time. Perhaps, given the current climate, it will regain it's relevance! I think the ESB should rerun this at Christmas time too. As someone who will be travelling back to the Old Country for Christmas, this ad will definitely be in my head!
