FFXII DCHLB - The Seer Hunt Part 1 of 2

Dual Character, Half License Board Challenge: Ashe only knows the top license board while Basch only knows the bottom license board:

Shadowseer is located in the lowest floor of the Pharos Subterra after completing Pharos storyline.

Unlocking Subterra ===
Return to Pharos at Ridorana, take the Dais of Ascendence at 1F to
underground (B1F, Penumbra). Collect enough Black Orbs/Pearls by killing monsters and fill it to the Altars at four different corner to get to lower floors. Here is the require orbs of each floor.
B1F - South-West 6, South-East 3, North West 9, North-East 18
B2F - South-West 18, South-East 15, North West 9, North-East 15
B3F - South-West 12, South-East 27, North West 21, North-East 15
Phoenix optional boss has to be defeated
B4F - Seer


Dual Character, Half License Board Challenge: Ashe knows the top license board and Basch knows the bottom license board.

This is a challenge. Please understand that this is not a normal game play and don't ask me or comment about why the character's levels are so high and why I'm only using 2 characters. Dual Character Half License Board Challenge means you only use two characters of your choice. Only one person can learn all licenses on the top part of the license board. The other character is only allowed to learn the bottom portion of the license board.

The top character will have more HP, MP, augments, etc but have poor defense because of poor equipment.

The bottom character will have access to all weapons/armors but have poor HP and no augments, no accessories, etc. This person will depend on the healing of the top character.

Hopefully I'll beat him tonight cuz I'm on the B2 level, but I gotta question. How hard is he gonna be for me considering I'm using 3 players who are all at level 87?

It really depends on what equipments you have since equipments outweigh levels in this game. Next, I think the average level would be 65 or more. Your levels are no problem for this guy, but as I said before, make sure to have some good equipments. Excalibur is good to use against him once he's by himself or you can use Holy Lance or Zodiac Spear.

Well from what I gathered, I can't get the Zodiac Spear because I didn't have the patience to pay attention to the treasures I'm NOT supposed to open, but is it hard to get the other strong weapons?

No it's not hard to get other strong weapons. Fomalhaut is very easy, for one. You can get it in the chest behind Antlion. It's a 50% chance to contain it and you can get as many as you want. Tournesol takes a while to make in the bazaar. Excalibur is found in Great Crystal and shouldn't take too long to get. You can use Ragnorok after defeating Ixion and Ultima Blade is pretty fast to make in the Bazaar. You can purchase decent weapons in Balfonheim if you don't have time to get these weapons.

Oh, if you did the Gilgamesh hunt completely, you can acquire a free Masamune from Mont Blanc. Masamune + Genji Gloves + Berserk + Bravery will do some good damage.

Y don't u Reverse + Renew on the mobs?
