that's like a $300 mask isnt it? From a company that makes all kinds of cool leather masks and hats and other parts. I forgot the name but a costume store had a bunch of their stuff last halloween and I really wanted some of it.

@leatherprops considering jules vern wrote about nuclear reactors and laser/ray guns, i don't think plasma would be too far off the norm for their science thinking

@DontPutSpiceonRice - google "lumin disk" and you'll find a pile of suppliers. This one uses a 12 volt transformer, so I swapped in a 12v lead-acid battery to make it portable.

i rlly love this and i wanted to put one of these dishes in to waist mounted pack, but im stumped as to what i should do to provide power =S

@DrSparrowShrike - the transformer that powers this thing supplies 12 volts, so I replaced it with a 12v rechargeable lead-acid battery that I carry in a satchel.
