I have a somewhat vague recollection that there have been issues as to who actually owns the rights to Brull's music - especially as the property of so many Jews (Brull's heirs included) was taken during the 1930's and 40's. That might serve to explain why we have heard so little of Brull before now. At least one piano concerto has appeared on CD thanks to Hyperion Records in the UK.
