you're right. bacteria will not become a monkey or a human. it is the difference between micro and macro-evolution. although, organisms of one population can be subject to small changes in allele frequency through several possibilities such as, genetic drift, catastrophic events, mutation, etc etc. becoming drug resistant is an example of micro-evolution. had you not been taught, it is likely that you wouldn't believe that you developed from a single cell. organisms evolve. our DNA is hard proof

Yes you are right. Egg and sperm. But each carry only 23 chromosomes and come together to form a single cell called a zygote. Which we all developed out of. DNA carries the information that was used throughout our evolutionary history. It literally contains the building blocks of completely different organisms that we evolved from. The same goes for all other organisms. It would only benefit you to take a biology class. Remember, sciences are being updated regularly.
