  • Well, guess who won! Yahoo!

  • @SteveBKNY That must've hurt. Hah. I'm just kidding.

  • Broke my ass

  • @trepidity23 I totally agree. A lot of the points in her speech didn't align with the Ron Paul movement or the tea party movement.

I'm just pointing out that she did say she's not the spokesman for the teaparty, and can't be.

There's no denying she wants all the support she can get from the recently-active grass roots movement if she's to have any chance in 2012. Which is also why she endorsed Rand - probably the biggest Tea Party Candidate at the moment.

  • @GnarledCypress

Maybe you didn't listen to whole speech. Many of us were discussing it directly after via social networking sites, and we agreed. Her speech was neocon or GOP fake conservative. She can say that if she wants. But she is never the less the role she is attempting to take in the media is that of the unofficial Representative of the Tea Parties ideas. Did you hear how much time she spent trying to validate the current wars? They are both unconstitutional. We make no exceptions, ever

  • Yes, RP has said that ALL money should be earmarked. Rather then left to the discretion of bureaucracies, the Executive branch, etc.

  • Not the President but unelected bureaucrats

    1. He'd rather the money not be spent so that the money stays at home.

    2. If it's gonna be spent he doesn't want his district to get screwed.

I can agree with both of those, can you?

  • Ron is 'sorta' for earmarks. He puts in all he can to get tax dollars back for his constituents, but then votes against the bill. If the spending doesn't pass he's happy, but if it does pass, at least he's getting some of those tax dollars back for his people.

  • Ron Paul is actually pro ear mark. On the logic that if congress doesn't direct spending, the president will.

  • I think the GOP supporters listen more to Sarah Palin than Mitch McConnell. I think they're both meh myself.
