Tom Pearson was the first principal of Normanhurst Boys' High School. He was a determined and forceful headmaster and was renowned for his lengthy tirades at school assembly on his beloved school quadrangle. Remarkably, after the passage of some 40 years, an audio record of one of his tirades from the mid 1960s has emerged.

I do not know who recorded the audio, hopefully they will out themselves.

All I can say is, thank god it was not lost over the years, so now we can have a good laugh, a nostalgia trip back to a time that will never come again and perhaps an insight into ourselves.

nope the blinds are now being undamaged and the school only has the problem of a deteriorating oval
