Alas, I think the gap will widen for Ireland at least. We have an oldish team and some good players coming through, but few of the obvious quality as our first-team players had when they were young.

Thats to bad ireland have been doing prity well for the last few years, so the debth of the players are not to good over there? "Question" Are there any plans to add any more teams to the six nations in the years coming up?

As far as I'm aware the only thing hinted at is to allow an Argentinian team based in Spain to join the six nations... That seems to be only because the SH big three are unwilling to let them into the TriNations. I doubt it though.. After that, I think we have to wait until Italy becomes more competitive before another whipping boy can be added. Depth of players--Rugby is Ireland's 4th sport, so it's actually not that big.

I had made one mad prediction mùyself (under the influence of divers drinks) that the final Would oppose Scotland to France, Nz would loose in the quarter finals, australia and south Africa would fight third place. Ireland, Wales would go through to the quarters and england would have just made it... Seems possible?

So Ireland tops the group, loses to scotland in quarters; france beat new zealand in cardiff in quarters? Both are possible though such results would come down to injuries I think. But as this summer has proved, everyone is beating everyone else so it's a bit up in the air.

you would also know that the south african teams are performing quite poorly (even victor matfield). i reckon it cause there're all getting old. just this weekend SA's beloved Dupree (halfback) was outclassed by the king Will Genia.

if you were watching the Rugby Union Super 15 you would know how good the Australian Wallabies team will be.

Good prediction on Argentina? They beat France 5 out of the last 6 times they played. France beat them by one point, BTW.

Too bad for Ireland, but since I am from Argentina I am glad they are in semis and watch out for them.
