mine has four RCA 6L6 power tubes, one Fender 12AT7 phase inverter tube and two Fender 7025 preamp tubes.

it's depend on your speaker set up.in this demo I used a warm tone of Marshall 4x12" equipped with Celestion G25 Rola speakers, work well with Fuzz Face and Big Muff:no fizzy buzzy tone just smooth warm fuzz.sometimes I put dod 250 preamp or chandler tube driver in front of fuzz pedal to make the tone more overdrive, smoother and round (tip from David Gilmour's Big Muff pedal set up).I found fuzz pedal is not work with brittle/brighty sounding of Fender JBL 120F.

Don`t buy a 100w bassman to play in bedroom volume >< That`s like taking a ferrari for a spin in a parking lot.

If you want more power out of this amp, use a patch cable from input 1 on guitar channel (high) to input 2 on bass channel, then bass channel 1 and to your guitar. Then you get to use the pre amp tubes more efficient.

what do U think of the bassman 100 against the bassman 50, can U get the bass channel to be more guitar friendly, people say U can not blackface the bassman 100 bass channel as it only has 1 tube for each channel, unlike the 50 which has 1 extra, the 4 6l6 tubes over the 2 6l6 tubes has got to add tone ?

Don't get me wrong I proper love the bassman, that's why I bought one, but when I first heard one the tone sounded like it was coming out of a hollow case, did U pick that up, the tone is great, it just sounded like it was coming out of a hollow box, I use my sustain pedal by boss, which seems to thicken the tone up, not that it needs it as I like it,.
