This is a video documentry on 15-year-old Brandon Crisp, who disappeared from his home last month after a dispute with his parents over a video game. The interviewer has a very large bias and puts all of the blame on video games. She critisizes the players and considering the MLG a "sport". After watching i couldn't believe how she didn't realize that its not the video game that cause this problem. Clearly there is something wrong with the child when he neglects the outside world and runs away after his parents take his game. I put this blame heavily on the parents, who clearly noticed he was playing XBOX why too much. The parents should have stepped in and solved the problem maybe even take him to a child psychologist. This video was a Canadian broadcast and this situation happened in Barrie, Ontario Canada which is about an hour away from my house. Anyways I would like to hear what you guys think.

  • did they find the boy?

  • @psommorr yes they did, if you watch part 5 it says how he climbed up a tree, fell out of it and his head landed on a rock and he died.

  • I know this is old but the father helped Brandon pack his bags as he was running away

  • @killaken2000 Wow did not know this, he must feel terrible.

I'd also like to point out that these kids were obviously not good at CoD. "They'd go crazy and get like 6 or 7 kills a round".

  • Why do people that have never played a video game in their life think that games are to blame, kids don't learn morality by video games, good or wrong. Kids are a reflection of their parents, do you think their wasn't any killers 70yrs ago, if a rapist or killer wears clothing from target target is to blame. This has been going on forever, years before video games, ignorant people have always blamed what they don't understand comic books movies even books at some point. Stop this ignorance.

  • And to combat haters I play call of duty with MLG and I get good grades and don't get in trouble at home, this news report acts like video games kill people's minds, I'm a perfectly normal teen outside of the game

  • You know what, its not the games fault that a kid went missing. The parents should have put a limit on playing, or something. It seems to me this boy was not right in the head in the first place and some people just can't handle it

  • Requescat in pace Brandon...

  • anyone could have had the same reaction to a phone or computer being taken away, infact some people have. they wont mention that because they actually use those devices, its just a smear job

  • Its a hobby. Its a fun hobby, and its a very popular hobby.

  • Video games don't kill people, people kill people. I hate what the media does to make it seem like video games are always the problem...
