Giant NES Controller Coffee Table

Hi everyone, this is a big NES Controller I built to size as a working controller and coffee table for my husband's 25th birthday :) All made out of MDF. I was inspired by Kyle Downes (http://ultra-awesome.blogspot.com/), he lists pretty much a step-by-step instructional on how he built his table and that's what I followed.

It's my first real wood-working project and I'm pretty suprised I was able to pull it off...I'm 5'2" and weigh 100 lbs...if I can do it...anyone can do it!

Kyle's step by step process is hardly clear and complete! I find it hard to believe you made that based soley on thoes instructions! unless I wasnt looking at the right thing I wouldnt be able to make that and especially work correctly with the wiring and soldiering and spring action on the buttons based just on his blogspot.
