  • I was thinking a lot of the same questions as everyone else, but keep in mind his main focus is how children at a young age are more susceptible to games and the one he picked was the "violent" ones. If you're writing a masters thing on it I think the one topic that concerns most viewers would the topic of violence in order to get things rolling. But as a viewer remember to be critical, I mean, gamers know this isn't the whole story. The documentary itself plays creepy Resident evil 2 music.

  • At the time this video was produced there had already been a great deal of television produced talking about the "benefits" of gaming. This video was designed to be critical. Insert Coin has no obligation to be "objective" and does not seek to be. The main purpose is to encourage gamers to think critically about video games without dismissing the importance of video games in their lives. Keep the comments coming. Thanks.

  • This is a bold statement taken against a huge billion-dollar industry. Are all video games violent? No, but I believe the most popular ones are.

Recently, I saw another documentary in which a gamer talked about the "artistry of gaming"... what a laugh. He said that he couldn't appreciate a film or a book because he couldn't control the narrative in those mediums. If that's not an addict, I don't know what is.

  • They're just focusing on the violent video games, but they're not focusing on games such as Sonic, Mario, or Zelda. O.o Sorry to say this, but this experiment has a lot of flaws.

  • los videojuegos no promueven la violencia, entonces que es del cine, la tv y la guerra? esas cuestiones no entran en juego tambien? veamos todo el asunto, no solo una parte

  • hmm. i do not agree..

it is proven that games do not have any effect on a normal person. and today, games does not get u isolated, there are posebilyties to play online with other people and so on..
