If you work for a living on an ordinary wage like thousands of people here in Inverness and millions of people across the country, the Liberal Democrats think you are paying too much tax.
So we're cutting your taxes.
Over the past two years, Liberal Democrats have raised the amount you can earn tax free.
So last April, and the April before, you had a little bit more in your pay packet.
And this April you'll see the biggest cut in your Income Taxes yet.
Your money, back where it belongs, in your pocket.
This April we will have cut your taxes by £550 a year.
Cutting income taxes was the top priority in the Liberal Democrat manifesto and now it's the top income tax priority for the Coalition Government.
I know that times are tough, that bills are rising, that wages aren't keeping pace with inflation
And that we have got to make some really tough decisions to clear up the mess that Labour made of our economy to get our country back on the right track.
Cutting income taxes will not deal with all of those problems, but it will help. And I hope it will make a big difference to every family in this country.
Liberal Democrats want fairer taxes in tough times.
A tax cut of £550 in your pay packet next April.
Rising to £700 as soon as possible.
Asking those who have the most to pay more so that everyone else can pay less.
We are campaigning for fairer taxes and we need your help.
