Ken Hitchcock didn't mince words. After the Flyers were beaten, 8-2, by the Sabres in Game 2 of their best-of-seven series, Hitchcock said: "We were embarrassed for our fans, and we were embarrassed for the city of Philadelphia." What's more, Hitchcock and Sabres coach Lindy Ruff engaged in a war of words. "We just wanted to play, and the more they acted like idiots, the more we wanted to play," Ruff said. To which Hitchcock countered: "That's Lindy's opinion. I've seen his teams do the same thing. So he ought not to talk about that.'' After allowing two hat tricks in a playoff game for the first time ever, Hitchcock's team will look to regroup on Wednesday, when the series shifts to Philadelphia for Game 3
