An unknown 8K brings an empty "Yukos" tank train back towards Russia. The train will cross the Mongolian border at Erlian and will pass Ulan Batar on the way back to Russia. At the border the cars will also get new trucks for the broadgauge metals in Russia. (Luopoling, Beijing Municipality China, 11/09/2006)

  • Where is this area? China or Russia?

    It is very impressive.

Where one would love to vist...

  • Hello! This area is just North-West of Beijing, in the Mentougou district, still within the Beijing Municipality! So this place is relatively easy to reach from Beijing by the way (By local train 6411, or bus 929 from the Subway stop "Pingguoyuan"), and the place is one of my favourite places in China! There are several classic Chinese villages in this area too, and several nice likes, like "Pearl Lake"... The railway line is the Feng(tai)-Sha(cheng)-Line, between Beijing and Zhangjiakou/Datong.

  • By the way, I also have several other video's in my channel that were shot along the Feng-Sha-Line... ;-)

  • Yukos doesn't exist any more after the Russian bureaucrats attacked it and arrested Mikhail Khodorkovsky in 2003. Almost everyone in the Yukos case disbanded or were arrested and sent to Siberia.

  • It seems you are right (I didn't know this but checked Wikipedia), but there is still written "ЮКОС" on the tank cars... :-)

Interesting to know! Thanks for the info! :-D
