@raikukei Thank you very much!! This helps us alot and we'll be sure to have a look at your Google document trip plan :) We will absolutely stay a few nights in a hotspring Ryokan, that's something we definitely do not want to miss :) Thanks for your advice!

Hey, my friend and I are hoping to got to Japan next summer. Do you have any advice for us at all? We're hoping to go for 2 weeks, so any advice would be great :)
Ho long did you go for and roughly how much did your entire trip cost?

@oOshikamaruloverOo heya, so is that winter or summer in japan for you? i would probably say plan it out pretty good so you don't miss anything you want to see as there is A LOT to see. but in general, you souldn't have any trouble as most things are in english too and if it isnt there a good enough chance someone speaks a little english. money wise, depends on your budget, we were on a low-medium budget, staying at business hotels and capsule ryokans, approx 4.5k AUD. thats all meals

@raikukei We're planning on going during the summer and staying for two weeks so we're going to try to get in as MUCH in to see as possible. I speak fluent Japanese because my Dad is half Japanese and my Grandma tought me so I think we'll be fine. How long did you guys stay there for? And what's kAUD? I'm Canadian so what would that be in dollars?
We found these cute little Japanese houses for rent that are about 100$ a night (so 50$ each) which is SUPER cheap.

@oOshikamaruloverOo we stayed for roughly 17 days, ive got a link in the description to our google document trip plan. 3k AUD = $3,000 australian dollars, roughly 3,100 CAD. summer is hot/humid with chances of rain cause of monsoon season i think. $50 nice price :) but would recommend staying couple of nights in a traditional ryokan, some may be cheap, some may be expensive, depends on what you want. hotsprings are a must, some ryokan have it together. check out japan-guide . com heaps of info
