Just got the Bose Companion 3 series II speakers+subwoofer. I filmed this review with the Cannon Vixia HS10 and the mic on the camera picked up the sound quite well when I went back and watched it connected to the speakers. For those of you interested in the Bose speakers or the Cannon I hope this vido gives you a decent idea of what to expect. Just remember if you are watching this review to hear the speakers you need to have decent speakers on your computer to appreciate the sound quality they put out and that the mic picked up. For being a 2.1 system the speakers create a surround sound environment for movies. I am very happy with the set.

  • I posted a video follow up to this on how to connect to the TV and have a nice surround sound setup. So please check it out on my videos.

  • @XD3T0XP if you have an audio out jack on your TV ( Red + White RCAs) then you can get a cable that has the two red and white RCAs and one end for the TV and on the other end a 3.5mm headphone plug that goes into the control pod.

  • Quick update. On my TV there is an Audio out only RCA (Red White) jack that allows me to hook the speakers directly to the TV. There is a Setting in the audio options that allows me to control the volume of the Bose with the TVs volume control. Before I had this set up wrong and when I wanted to turn the volume of the bose down I had to get up and do it on the module. Now if I mute the TV or adjust the volume the Bose adjusts with it. Awesome setup and feature to use with these speakers

  • @chltmdwp Nope it was at 50%

  • @spitzhacke2007 Ambitionz Az a Ridah - Tupac-

  • I stand corrected by switching the tv to variable I am able to adjust the speakers with my remote control! This is huge and so much more convenient. Thanks for the comment otherwise I would not have looked in to this.

  • Yeah your Bose sounds goodon my Bose Companion 5 .... :)

  • @billas333 what brand of cable did you use to connect the tv to the speakers?

  • Thanks for this video, this helped me decide whether to buy theses or not.

  • The FFDP sounded good up until the heavy part, maybe your dub should be turned up to help the mids out.

  • There's a long wired control pod that you use very easy.
