do you need a hd tv to have blue ray

Well, it is recommended that you do, but no. If you have a PS3 hooked up through composite cables to your TV you can view blu-ray. It's just not nearly as clear as it is on a HDTV.

4.5/5 for writing? I guess you're entitled to your own opinion. I personally felt that it sucked, but the action scenes were pretty cool. Xavier Gens should really direct the sequel plus they got a different guy to write it. So, I'm hopeful.

everybody slates this film but i think its one of the best video game adaptations. I enjoyed it.

This movie was underrated, I really enjoyed it.

I got it for 9 bucks brand new at my local movie store.

The digital copies are DVD ONLY as of now, even with blu ray editions, you'll get the movie on blu ray, but digital copy on a DVD.

Im not sure i understand why you gave this movie a four out of five in picture quality. If this movie was filmed in 1080p HD, which i believe it was, their is no other format clearer than that, that exists for public usage.
