I am very intrigued by tesla coils, I have watch all videos on youtube about them and everyone seem so excited about tesla coils yet no 1 shows practical use for them? some say they produce energy others say they take energy from the air. can anyone tell me why I would want to build 1? if there is no practical application why would I want to build 1? if I guess I wore my home from 1 that would be awesome! but I don't see anyone using them other than having fun with sparks? thank you.
