  • BRILLIANT, THIS!!! Looks like I was standing right next to you at this gig. See you in R'dam ;)

  • Yes, we did! I don't have frontseat tickets

for Rotterdam, though I will be close enough

to record a few songs. That if filming is

not forbidden. By they way, I have met Mark

in a split second when he left stage.

And he signed my (his) cd The Early Tapes!

    C U later!

  • Fantastic stuff, thanks for this!

  • Level 42 will be playing in Rotterdam the

15th of February. Guess what I'll take with me!

  • Does Gary Husband drum from the left? I guess Cobham's sitting in on Husband's kit, 'cause Cobham's not a lefty, and that kit belong's to a left handed skinman!

  • @naleyan this is the sort of music that carved Level 42's early career. All of them grew up on the likes of Return To Forever, Mahavisnu etc... Check out most of Level 42's tours (apart from 1986-1990) and theres always an instrumental being played. If jazz funk is geek music, then I'm happy being labelled as that.

  • is it Level42? wow it sounds way different, great !

  • I love Mark King hes such a clever man he fought for Level 42 to stay a band of the people & not for the Gould brothers(although I luv their work & big fan) to take to the disappearing up ur own ass hole territory as is being done in this video. But its a one off & is a jazz festival so its amusic geek fest. Hes proven right as I know Gary Hubbo a classic dissapear up ur own arse musos is away now as we speak playing to an audience of 50 music students who are pretending to like the shit hemake

  • Dang Billy, easy on the cymbals.

  • the best performance of my favorite song they do. Cobham and King are musical soulmates, as the way they interacted musically here proves it. Amazing bass solo on this version. The detail Cobham puts into the performance sounds like he has played with them for 30 yrs.

  • Áwesome vid! (I.O.U.) 5* Billy Cobham rips it and Mark King clearly enjoyed standing on stage with his longtime hero. Too bad it wasn't released on dvd. Hmmm, I think I'm gonna search for some of my own old Level 42 live recordings now:)

  • when and if they play together like this it is great material for a DVD.
